5 Tips On How To Get The Best Photo & Video On Your Wedding Day
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. It’s a day full of love, joy, and happiness, but the day can pass by in a blur. One of the only things you will have left after your big day has come to a close, the music turns off, and everyone says their goodbyes and drives home, will be your memories through your photos and video.
There are a few key ways to ensure that you get the best photos and video possible, of you and everyone who is celebrating your and your partner’s love.
As a photographer, I want to capture you and your fiancé as authentically as possible. The best way to be able to do this, is to help you to be fully present on your wedding day.
Being present on your wedding day won't only help you get better images, it is also essential to fully enjoy and appreciate every moment of it. Here are a few tips on how to be the most present on your wedding day:
Take a Deep Breath: Take a few deep breaths, and remind yourself to stay calm and present. This will help you to focus on the present moment and appreciate everything that’s happening around you.
Put Your Phone Away: Avoid checking your phone or social media on your wedding day. This can be a big distraction and take away from the special moments that you should be experiencing.
Stay Focused: Try to stay focused on the present moment and enjoy each and every moment as it comes. Take in the sights, sounds, and smells around you, and appreciate the people that are there to share this special day with you.
Take Mental Snapshots: Take mental snapshots of all the special moments that happen throughout the day. This will help you to remember all the little details that made your wedding day so special.
Let Go of Perfection: Don’t worry about everything being perfect. Remember that this day is about celebrating your love and the start of a new chapter in your life.
By following these tips, you can be sure to be fully present on your wedding day, and make it a day to remember for the rest of your life.
BONUS TIP:
Put in extra effort with your planner, photographers, videographer, and vendors, to create a wedding timeline that is not jammed back. Wedding days are always busy, and they will never go exactly to plan. So if you have a timeline that has tons of buffer time added into every individual event, you can make sure you are not rushing from event to event, and having no time to be yourself and enjoy the magic of your wedding day, that will come and go in a flash.
Have an amazing wedding day!
